Tēnā koutou katoa, Greetings to you all,

It is a great pleasure and honour to be the Convenors of the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists and the Australian Society of Anaesthetists Combined Scientific Congress (CSC) to be held in Wellington in October 2020.  This meeting was last held here in New Zealand in 2008 and was very successful

This congress will be remembered for the fascinating scientific program as well as showing all that Wellington, the 'coolest little Capital in the world' has to offer.  Our harbour city has a vibrant arts and culture scene, is the heart of government and decision makers, yet  allows you the to escape to hills with a skip and a jump, or a few turns of the pedals.

We are delighted to invite your organisation to be a part of this unique Congress,  we have many packages on offer, and are open to discussion regarding a unique package that may better suit the needs of your company.

The 2020 CSC will be held across 2 sites:  the TSB arena and the Intercontinental hotel.  The TSB arena has a large area that will be an excellent location for the trade the trade exhibition, immediately adjacent to the main conference areas.  The Intercontinental will host the workshops and small group sessions.

We expect numbers in the region of 800 delegates with a significant number of weekend registrants.

We have an exciting panel of key note speakers from the Canada, the UK and the US:

Professor PJ Devereaux is the director of cardiology and scientific leader of the Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Surgery research group at McMaster University, Canada.

Professor D Levett is an anaesthetist at Southampton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, where she is clinical lead for perioperative medicine and the surgical high dependency unit.

Professor Shafer is Professor of Anesthesiology at Stanford University School of Medicine, California USA

As you will see from the enclosed material, there are multiple opportunities where your organisation can participate both as an exhibitor and as part of the scientific program. The scientific program will run over three and a half days from Friday 16th October to Monday 19th October with the trade exhibition bumping in on the 15th  and open for the first three days only.

The social program will include the signature Gala dinner event on the Saturday night. The Exhibitors Reception will be on the Friday evening and there will be a family event on the final night.

We encourage you to come on board with our conference and support this excellent educational event by exploring the many opportunities in this prospectus.
