We would like to invite you to join us for The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners' Annual Conference – New Zealand's only national GP conference presented by GPs, for GPs and their general practice teams.
Our conference is being held at the Dunedin Centre, between Friday 26 – Sunday 28 July 2019. This year we will be incorporating the popular Quality Symposium into the main conference programme, with a stream of sessions dedicated to practice quality.
New Zealand's primary health care sector is continuously evolving, and with opportunities like the Health and Disability Systems Review, and several high-profile bills on the parliamentary agenda, we know GPs will be keen to gather, debate and learn.
Our conference provides an opportunity for delegates to connect, network, and hear from a range of international and national experts.
Our theme is: Realising the potential in primary health care: technology, teamwork and equity. The whakataukī we're using to celebrate this theme for the conference is:
Mā te mahi tahi ka whakatutuki
Together weaving the realisation of potential
The conference programme will consist of seven streams that reflect priority learning areas for general practice. They are: clinical; Māori health and Equity; future technology; diversity; mental health; and medical humanities; and Quality in General Practice.
We look forward to welcoming you to Dunedin in July!
